The Philippine Seagrass Research Repository is an open, interactive map of more than 120 seagrass studies (and counting) from Batanes to Tawi-Tawi. Each pin links a location to the research done there, with the title, year, and authors. Use the search bar to find studies by keyword, and check the pin colors to see when each study was published.
The repository covers biology, ecology, genetics, fisheries, economics, and the social dimensions of seagrass use and management.
It was built to democratize science by putting open-access literature in one place. Coordinates are approximate, and only open-access studies are included for now. Press the full screen button to explore all the features of the map.
